The LT15 uses what we call a "semi-cantilevered" head design. The full cantilevered head design we use on our larger mills is extremely expensive to manufacture. So we came up with a way to create the benefits of this design, only for use in a smaller, less expensive mill. At first glance, it may appear there is a second rail guiding the head on the LT15 . But in reality, the weight stillrests on one side of the frame, which is re-enforced with roller bearings mounted on a zinc rail. The frame was engineered to properly distribute the mill's weight, so you get even, accurate cuts every time.
