Sometimes, you have one thick board, and you want to slice it into two thinner boards. Our resaw attachment makes that possible without the sawmill cutting head moving at all. The resaw attachment is designed to feed cants up to 4" thick and 12" wide into the blade of the sawmill. The resaw attachment has its own power feed motor that's wired into the mill speed control on your Wood-Mizer, and this variable speed control provides rates up to 100' per minute. This resaw attachment also cuts lapsiding just by tipping the board as it's fed through the unit. Boards such as 1 x 6's and 1 x 8's can be turned into two pieces of siding in one pass.
