Lawson's Private Refuge
Designing and building this cabin was a labor of love for George Lawson. It was designed to renew his property, with an inspiration from his business. He used hemlock and white pine, plus red pine for the cabin logs.
Construction methods used were Adirondack logs milled, two sides, stacked and spiked, scribed, fitted corners, board on board gables.
Lawson says he uses the cabin for snowmobiling, as a hunting camp, and as a private refuge. |
