About Wood-Mizer

Hunter Baize

All fifteen-year-old boys are involved with extra-curricular activities.  Only a few span the breadth of the country in the process.  Hunter Baize is just an average teenage boy who likes to play basketball, video games, and hang out with friends.  On the weekends though, Hunter can be found at one of a multitude of asphalt speedways across the country, traveling at speeds of over 100 mph.  From Louisiana to Pennsylvania, Hunter has shown incredible competitiveness at all major venues where he has participated.

In 2011, Hunter made a serious move that has monumentally affected his racing career.  Hunter left his familiar go-kart racing series for the all-new Pro National Series racing Baby Grand stock cars.  That year, Hunter ran a limited Baby Grand schedule in familiar locations, such as Whitesville, KY; Bowling Green, KY; Greenbrier, TN; Lebanon, MO; Charlotte, NC; and Bristol, TN.  With the 2012 Pro National Series, Hunter Baize Racing made himself a fixture on the circuit, competing for a points championship, finishing second in the series points standings, and winning the coveted “Rookie of the Year” title..

Wood-Mizer began sponsoring this aspiring young racer in 2013 and looks forward to seeing him as he makes a name for himself.
