Don't just take our word for it! Take a look at these responses we have received from LT40 owners.

"We love the LT40, it allows us to saw lumber any size we need. I really like the flexibility to saw what I want rather than having to build with what is available "off the shelf" at box stores." Brian L

"I heard most of the stories of other mills, and worked with the owner of a Wood-Mizer. It's the cadillac on mills no doubt. I'm enjoying mine every dry day I can." Dave E

"My hat is off to Wood-Mizer. Our mill has performed very well through the harsh Michigan winter, even though we have had some less than ideal sites. It's a truly rugged and reliable machine." Tony B

Salvaging Old Growth with a LT40 - Article
Donn Saindon - Idaho
"This cabin is really special. It is built on a cliff overlooking the Teton River. The exterior of the house is constucted completely from reclaimed wood and most of the interior is as well." Donn obtained his salvage wood from an old trestle that had crossed the north end of the Great Salt Lake, from an old Heinz Pickle factory from the 1930's outside of Sacramento, and from an orld iron ore trestle near Lake Superior. Donn had been a building contractor for over 25 years. He purchased his LT40 in 1987 and is now building furniture from his Idaho home.
"My mill is very important to my furniture making business. I build a lot of big timber tables and other big block pieces. I could not go one day without a Wood-Mizer and will always have one. I could not have built my cabin on the cliff and the furniture in it without my Wood-Mizer. I love that saw!"

Donn Saindon - Idaho
Donn used his manual LT40 sawmill to also complete his home's interior. 100% of the wood used to build his furniture, doors, cabinets, accents, ceiling, and flooring came from his Wood-Mizer sawmill. To create the textured look of the floor, he actually bent specific teeth on his sawblade to produce the textured flooring. Donn wrote to us, "These pictures are examples of the creative use of my Wood-Mizer. I hope you like them. My Wood-Mizer has been the most important tool in my woodworking and building career."
