Easy to Saw
This compact, durable mill is easy to operate and features a low maintenance, hand-crank feed system (optional Power Feed available) which runs on a rope instead of a cable. The base mill includes a 18 HP gas engine and saws logs up to 28” diameter by 17’ 8” long which are loaded and turned manually. Plus, there are many other options that make the LT15 the most versatile sawmill in its class. An unlimited number of 6’ 8” bed extensions may be added to saw extra long lengths.

The Wood-Mizer LT15 is anything but timid. This is a rugged and reliable sawmill used in production environments, building operations, and backyards.

Larry Dee Church - Oregon

Designed for future use as a Bed & Breakfast, the Mintlake Lodge is just one of those unique places that defy normalcy. Larry had his home framed with steel reinforced concrete walls using insulated concrete forms. He wrapped the solid concrete frame with Western Red Cedar that had fallen over in windstorms. Larry originally planned to use hardi-plank siding, but purchased the LT15 to make the best use of his natural resources available to him on his property.
"Live edge custom cedar siding, flat saw shakes of massive dimensions, unique barge rafters and trim that cannot be purchased anywhere at any (reasonable) price give the structure a look and feel that makes me extremely proud of what we have done with the LT15." Larry has an additional bed section on his LT15, and can saw up to 24' logs. He estimates that he cut over 14,000 bd. ft. for the exterior of the lodge, and saved over $20,000.

Scott Herndon - Idaho

"I built what I call the 'Dr. Prince T. Woods Open Air Poultry House' for my laying hens. I call it that because a gentleman by that name wrote a book on open air poultry houses in 1924. Every piece of wood on the house was milled on my LT15, and today the building houses my new flock of 20 laying hens and 3 roosters. I sold 2 of these poultry houses on craigslist in 6'X10' versions. They made me an average of $1,300 per coop for labor and profit. The approach I took is that I could mill and sell lumber, or I could mill lumber and add value to it by turning it into a chicken coop. I love my LT15!"

Don't just take our word for it! Take a look at these responses we have received from LT15 owners.

"The little LT15, I purchased back in the summer, is far beyond my expectations in producing quality lumber. It is all I need for cutting furniture grade red & white oak, cherry, poplar, walnut, red cedar, beech, pine and anything else that will make a good board." Charles C

"We are not 'professional' lumber folks but Montana Cowboys that can take an easy-to-operate LT15 and (be) in business in several hours. Mill was everything we had hoped for and does a wonderful job. I looked at several different mills on the Internet and your quality of workmanship and reputation sold me to buy the LT15." Tom R

"I used my mill to build my house and barn. I love my LT15." Strodes Custom Bandmill
