Larry Dee Church - Oregon
Designed for future use as a Bed & Breakfast, the Mintlake Lodge is just one of those unique places that defy normalcy. Larry had his home framed with steel reinforced concrete walls using insulated concrete forms. He wrapped the solid concrete frame with Western Red Cedar that had fallen over in windstorms. Larry originally planned to use hardi-plank siding, but purchased the LT15 to make the best use of his natural resources available to him on his property.
"Live edge custom cedar siding, flat saw shakes of massive dimensions, unique barge rafters and trim that cannot be purchased anywhere at any (reasonable) price give the structure a look and feel that makes me extremely proud of what we have done with the LT15." Larry has an additional bed section on his LT15, and can saw up to 24' logs. He estimates that he cut over 14,000 bd. ft. for the exterior of the lodge, and saved over $20,000.
