Responses we've received from LT40SH owners.

"I never purchased anything that pleases me as much as the new Super Hydraulic mill. It is really more than I expected." James T

"After using the LT30 a good number of years, I was quite a bit intimidated with the LT40 Super Hydraulic. Now after several weeks of use, I ponder to myself, how did I ever get by without it." Brian B

"I have never dealt with a more honest and pleasant company than Woodmizer. The Tech support is unmatched anywhere. When I have a problem, they'll talk me through it and hang right with me till it's resolved. They have even called me days later making sure everything is okay. Now what other company does that? I can say from experience, the Woodmizer Team has got it together. Proud owner of a LT-40 Super." Jim C

In the Family for Six Generations

"After spending a lot of time in our woods and looking over our forest inventory, I saw that we had numerous trees that needed to be cut. I had just recently retired as a pilot, so this was way out of my line of expertise. With a whole lot of help, I managed to learn a little about horse logging and good forestry management. I also expanded my research on sawmills and wisely ended up purchasing a new Wood-Mizer.

“Our goal was to use all the lumber possible from our own property. Folks are amazed that everything came within a couple of hundred yards from the site and that the timber was logged with the help of horses. We milled the heart of the tree and then used a broad axe to hand hewn finish all of the logs. I loved the flexibility of the mill. We were able to saw everything from the house logs, post & beams, flooring, T & G ceiling, doors, cabinets, trim work and even all of the cedar pickets with our Wood-Mizer. This became a very rewarding project since I was building our home from trees that I know my grandfather and father had planted decades earlier. Our children are the sixth generation to the farm that my great-great grandfather settled on in 1891.”

Larry Andresen - California
"After 15 years, I expect it [LT40 Super] will easily last the rest of my life and probably for years beyond. This efficiently engineered and easy to operate sawmill has been a joy to own and operate. The possibilities with a Wood-Mizer are truly endless and amazing. Not only has the Wood-Mizer enabled my dreams to come true, but it has also proven to provide a great return on the investment.  I would like to say to anyone considering purchasing a Wood-Mizer sawmill, "Do it!" I so encourage this because the sooner you own a Wood-Mizer sawmill, the more time you'll have to reap the rewards of your own Dreams coming true."

Kevin Kiwak - Massachuetts
Kevin is finally seeing the rewards of a long held dream: building his own house. And not just any house! Inspired after attending a timber framing class, Kevin bought his Wood-Mizer LT40 Super Hydraulic and began to see his dream turn into a reality. The house plan was taken from a 17th century French country design. The walls are 'half-timbered', a timber frame with infill for the enclosure, which leaves the unique frame exposed.
After milling the lumber, not a single other power tool was used in the construction of the entire home! Kevin used the shingle-maker attachment from Wood-Mizer to cut the 32,000 shingles for the roof. He estimates that he saved over $200,000 by using the LT40SH to build his home.
"Every wood element in the house - from the frame to the trim, doors, shelves, cabinets, you name it - was milled on the LT40SH. One hundred percent of the wood in the house comes from my property and was processed on my mill. My Wood-Mizer has literally opened up a new world for me. I am not restricted financially, aesthetically, or imaginatively... The possibilities seem endless. For me, there is no turning back." Kevin Kiwak.
