A Place to Sit and Think

Project Description
This project started out during a winter lull in my sawing and building schedule. Our camps out house was dark, tiny, and sinking into the ground.I decided to design and build a larger airier privy. I tried to make it as special as I could adding a clear peaked roof, windows, rafter tail decorations, peeled stick curtain rods, a bookshelf, curtains made from old camp pillowcases, and screening for stopping bugs. My wife declared it "the best outhouse ever" (and she has seen a lot of them). Our family actually prefers it to our indoor facilities, plus you cant beat the view. And with two holes theres no waiting.
